This role will see you supporting a range of young people, on 1:1 small group and class scenarios and providing a range of support from academic to emotional needs through all aspects of the College Day. We will provide all the training that you need to enable you to do this successfully.

The Student Support Worker post is an extremely varied role. This may include being in a classroom environment supporting the teacher, joining the breakfast club, having lunch with students and regularly going out on exciting trips and visits etc.
The Foundation Learning department works with young people with various barriers to learning and this post is essential in allowing these barriers to be overcome and helping the young people to progress onto higher level courses throughout the College. This role is challenging but also comes with a huge amount of job satisfaction. Our new Student Support Worker will have some experience of working with disengaged young people and a clear desire to transform their lives. The post is based in the Fleets building which is a small provision in place to support learners in accessing a high-quality education.
